PRIVACY POLICY

aIBS

Last updated: 16 July 2026

aIBS helps you track meals, symptoms, bowel habits and medications, and spot patterns in your own logged data. This page explains exactly what data the app handles, where it goes, and the choices you have. We built GutLog to hold as little of your data as the product allows.

What we collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or analytics profiles.

Where your data lives

AI features and OpenAI

When you generate a monthly report or ask the AI a question (Pro features), the relevant excerpt of your recent log entries is sent to OpenAI's API to produce the response. Per OpenAI's API terms, this data is not used to train their models. AI requests require a signed-in account and are rate-limited. If you never use the AI features, your logs are never sent to OpenAI.

AI reports describe patterns in your own logged data. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
